Sarrazin (Sarrazin) / Gilbert Ancestry

Documents
Frances and I are enjoying our trip to Quebec City and Montreal. We happened to drive by an office that does Genealogy for the Canadian government and inquired about Grandpa Sarrazin. The generously spent an hour researching and provided us with the information to the posting on the right.

Grandpa was born in Canada and married Grandma in New York in 1914 when he was 21 and she was 18. His parents were Samuel Sarrazin and Mary Boisvert and her parents were Frederick Gilbert and Julia Petitt.

In some of their research, Grandpa's last name was spelled Sarrazan. www.familysearch.org and rootsweb/worldconnectproject were suggested search sites they recommend.

It was wonderful to learn more about our heritage.
